Welcome! Thanks so much for being here. My name is Kate McGreavy and I am an intuitive painter living in Maine. I paint mainly with acrylics and I like to use an ever-expanding variety of tools to apply paint. Each painting begins without a plan and evolves naturally through many layers. I treat each painting as an exploration, a journey and an unfolding. Painting in this way is a continuous practice in presence, trust and connection. The images and energy that emerge in a painting often connect the viewer to the art in ways that are not easily expressed in words. I believe art is its own language that is both deeply personal and universal. I am drawn to the mystery and beauty of art, nature, and spirituality. I am inspired by all things wild and I especially enjoy exploring the woods and waters with my husband and two sons.
